This weekend was spent staying indoors out of this crazy heat. My little girl and I created invitations for her upcoming birthday party. She drew pictures on cardstock and I printed the details onto color paper then folded and stapled them together. I'm so proud of her willingness to create and do things on her own. She's such a great little girl.
Friday afternoon she told me a little story from her school day: Her teacher asked if she was an artist and she replies with, "YES!" How amazing!
Now, I'm thinking about Girl Scouts. There's sign-ups this week and Mazzy is interested. Maybe?
