Monday Mail Call & Other Updates

I've recieved several ATCs in the mail recently. All from swaps on Swap-bot.com.

We were surprised to find out that Mazzy's drawing got to be published on the cover of her school's yearbook! I guess they asked the kids to draw what they wanted to be when they grew up, then picked one drawing from each grade. I'm so happy for my kiddo!

Look! The eggs have hatched and the babies are hungry! This photo was taken a few days ago; today I noticed their eyes have opened and they've almost doubled in size.

Moo Cards & Zines!

I got the new Zine World last week! I spent most of last Sunday reading through it and highlighting the zines that sounded interesting to me. The next day, while I was writing notes to zine-makers I was interrupted by the mailman. He dropped off a birthday parcel for Mazzy and a small package for me from across the seas. I was happy to see my new Moo cards! They're so amazing and small. The printing is stellar! I can't say enough good things!

I've spent these past two-three days setting up the new exhibit at the local gallery where I work. It's the West Central Georgia Shutterbug photography group and you can see photos of the exhibit here on their blog. I still have a few things to do on my list for the exhibit, I hope everything goes well and there's a grand turn-out for the reception on Thursday.

Hey Mr. Postman!

I spent the weekend at my dad's and when I came back on Monday there was a lot of mail waiting for me. How exciting! I got zine orders, a beautiful handmade book from the 5x7 Swap, an owl from the Vintage Owl Swap from Swap-Bot, and the Little Bits Swap.

Currently I'm working on three swaps on Swap-Bot and postcards for Postcrossing. Can you tell I really like mail? :)

Oh, hey, I got a new digital camera for my birthday. Expect to see more photos on this blog! Hurrah!
