Painting with Watercolors

A few weeks ago I started taking a one-day-a-week watercolor workshop taught by a well-known local artist. It's a really great opportunity and I'm glad I jumped at the chance to take it. I usually miss the last 30 minutes of it since I have to leave to pick up Mazzy from school but I'm learning, and that's what matters.
So far we've underpainted the Magnolia leaves with Green Gold and now filling them in with Terre Verde. It's a long and tedious task and I should be working on it instead of blogging. I just wanted to show off the "in-progress" shot.
